Privacy Policy
ECHO collects no data about you. None. The game has no accounts, no servers, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs of any kind. It does not connect to the internet except to complete a purchase, and that purchase is handled entirely by Apple.
This policy explains what that means in practice. The developer is Dzianis Dashchynski, an individual.
1. What stays on your device
Everything ECHO remembers is stored only on your iPhone and is never transmitted anywhere:
- Your campaign progress — which levels you have completed, how far you have reached, your best call counts, and which levels you crossed without falling.
- Your settings — the sound level, whether haptics are on, and whether motion is reduced.
This data lives in the app’s private storage on the device. It is removed completely when you delete the app. We have no copy of it and no way to reach it.
2. What ECHO does not do
- It requests no permissions — not your location, camera, microphone, photos, contacts, calendar, or notifications.
- It contains no advertising and no advertising identifier (IDFA). It does not present App Tracking Transparency because it has nothing to track.
- It contains no analytics and no crash-reporting SDK. There is no Sentry, no Firebase, no Google or Meta software in the app.
- It has no user accounts and no sign-in.
- It does not use Game Center or any leaderboard service.
3. Purchases
ECHO offers a single one-time in-app purchase that unlocks the rest of the campaign. It is processed entirely by Apple StoreKit. Your payment method, billing address, and Apple Account details are handled by Apple and are never visible to the developer.
The only thing the game learns is whether the unlock is currently active on your Apple Account, which is what makes “Restore Purchase” work on a new device. That check happens between your device and Apple; no record of it reaches us.
Apple’s handling of purchase data is described in Apple’s Privacy Policy.
4. Crash and performance data
ECHO does not send crash reports to the developer. If you have chosen to share analytics with Apple in Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements, Apple may make aggregated, anonymised crash and performance statistics available to us through App Store Connect. That collection is Apple’s, is governed by Apple’s privacy policy, is entirely under your control in iOS Settings, and never identifies you to us.
5. Children
ECHO is suitable for all ages and collects no personal information from anyone, including children. There is nothing in the game that could reveal a child’s identity, because the game asks for nothing and sends nothing.
6. Your rights
Under GDPR (EU/EEA/UK), CCPA (California), and equivalent laws elsewhere, you have rights of access, correction, deletion, objection, and portability over personal data a company holds about you.
In ECHO’s case there is nothing to exercise them against: the developer holds no personal data about you whatsoever. To delete everything the game has stored, delete the app. If you would like to confirm any of this, write to us at the address below and we will answer within 30 days.
7. International transfers
No data leaves your device, so there are no international transfers. Purchase processing is performed by Apple under Apple’s own terms.
8. Changes to this policy
If ECHO ever begins collecting data, this policy will be updated before that version ships, the “Last updated” date will change, and the App Store release notes will say so plainly.
