Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Submap (the “app”) and the services made available through it. By installing or using the app you agree to these terms. The app is operated by Denis Dashchinsky, registered as an individual entrepreneur in Georgia.
1. The service
Submap helps you keep an inventory of recurring payments (subscriptions, memberships, scheduled charges) and presents forecasts based on the data you enter. The app is a record-keeping tool. It is not a payment processor, financial advisor, broker, or fiduciary. It does not initiate, authorise, cancel, or otherwise affect any actual charge on your real card, bank account, or App Store / Google Play account. Cancelling a subscription with its provider remains your responsibility.
2. Eligibility
You may use Submap if you are at least 13 years old (16 in the European Economic Area) and able to enter a binding agreement under the law of your jurisdiction.
3. Your account
You are responsible for the data you enter into the app and for keeping the credentials of your sign-in provider (Apple ID, Google account, etc.) safe. We do not store passwords. If you believe your account has been used without authorisation, sign out from Settings → Sign out and contact support@submap.cloud.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except as expressly permitted by applicable law.
- Use the app to store or process data that you are not authorised to handle, including data of other people without their consent.
- Submit voice or image input that contains other people’s personal data, unlawful content, or content designed to manipulate the parsing model.
- Attempt to circumvent rate limits, quotas, or row-level-security policies, or otherwise probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the service without our written permission.
- Use the app to violate any applicable law, including export-control and sanctions regulations.
5. Subscriptions and pricing
The base functionality of Submap is free of charge. Some features may be offered later as paid in-app purchases or subscriptions through the App Store. If a paid feature is introduced, its terms and price will be presented to you in the app before any charge, and Apple’s standard terms will govern the transaction.
6. Intellectual property
Submap, its source code, design, and brand belong to Denis Dashchinsky. The data you enter into the app remains yours. You grant us only the rights needed to operate the app on your behalf — for example to store, process, and display your subscription rows back to you on your devices.
7. Service availability
We aim to keep the app and its backend available, but we make no uptime guarantee. We may from time to time suspend the service to ship updates, perform maintenance, or respond to security issues. We may also discontinue features, including the entire app, with reasonable notice in-app or by email.
8. Disclaimers
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. The forecasts, totals, and analytics produced by the app are estimates based on the data you entered and the exchange rates available to us. They are not a substitute for the official statement of any provider, bank, or tax authority.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will Denis Dashchinsky be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunity, arising out of or in connection with your use of the app, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid for the app in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the liability, or (b) USD 50.
10. Termination
You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account. We may suspend or terminate your access to the app if you materially breach these terms or use the app in a way that risks harm to other users or to the service.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Georgia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The exclusive forum for any dispute arising from these terms or the app is the courts of Tbilisi, Georgia, except where mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence grant you the right to use local courts.
12. Changes
Material changes to these terms will be announced in-app before taking effect. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest revision.
